Assalam-o-Alaikum Friends
It's a great pleasure for me to present another blog.
Allah sent Many prophets to this world for the betterment of humanity. Allah mentioned some of them in Quran. He mentioned in Quranوَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا رُسُلًا مِّن قَبْلِكَ مِنْهُم مَّن قَصَصْنَا عَلَيْكَ وَمِنْهُم مَّن لَّمْ نَقْصُصْ عَلَيْكَ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُولٍ أَن يَأْتِيَ بِآيَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ فَإِذَا جَاءَ أَمْرُ اللَّهِ قُضِيَ بِالْحَقِّ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ الْمُبْطِلُونَ
And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah . So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all].
(Surah Al Ghafir-Verse:78)
Allah mentioned 26 prophets in Quran.
So A great Muslim scholar Ibn-e-kaseer compiled all the Quranic Facts and stories about prophets into one book and named it as Qasas ul Anbia (قصص الانبیاء).Abu al-Fiḍā ‘Imād Ad-Din Ismā‘īl ibn ‘Umar ibn Kathīr al-Qurashī Al-Damishqī, known as Ibn Kathīr was a highly influential historian, exegete and scholar during the Mamluk era in Syria. He wrote several books.
One of his most popular literary work is the Seerah and stories of Prophets based on Quran. It is translated into several languages.
